When i read your story i had to laugh.. I am from Saint Louis Missouri and moved to Arizona just a few weeks ago. I can’t imagine stopping for a turtle out here in Arizona because i have been scared out of my mind about different animals and the scorpions. Back in Saint Louis i would have probably not hesitated to pick up a turtle without thinking twice.

On top of cleaning the tile I also removed all the old caulking between the deck and tile and applied a fresh,new,solid seal,which really made this pool look great. There was also a minor tile repair done in the skimmer where a tile was missing.

I think pressure washing is the single best way, but you did identify the main problem with it of dislodging loose tiles. It is easier to make sure to clean your tiles regularly, as opposed to doing it once every blue moon when the stains have been set in. Just another reason to hire a great pool service like Four Seasons to handle regular maintenance and cleaning!
