Swimming pool acid wash
Acid washing a swimming pool will brighten pool plaster by removing a very thin layer off the top of the plaster, exposing the fresh plaster underneath. Pebble and quartz can also be acid washed to remove staining and rough build up. An acid wash will not remove severe etching and staining from years of abuse, the acid wash will make it look a little better, but the plaster may still be rough and discolored in some areas.
Before we begin acid washing a swimming pool, we will test a
small area to make sure you will be happy paying us to do the entire pool. If the acid wash is not needed, you will only be charged for the pool draining.
When acid washing your swimming pool we will start off with a light solution of acid and work our way up to the proper strength so not to strip away too much plaster or pebble grout.
Beware Of The Fee's!!
We've noticed some pool service companies will give you the best price in town to acid wash your swimming pool...over the phone. Then, when they get there, there is a draining fee, the acid wash fee they quoted you, and chemical fee's for your new water.
Don't be fooled! Make sure you know just what you're getting, as well as what you need to go from ugly to oasis.
